RESCUU Work Package 2
Within this work package, two boot camps will be organized. The aim is that students and researchers will develop competences and skills in the European Educational Area, European Research Area, and EU policy in sustainable development. They will also develop the skills in innovation and entrepreneurship they need to advance their career and play an active role in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. The hope is to organize the camps in hybrid format, to give possibility to some students to meet in-person, while connecting virtually with other participants.
Preliminary time for the Work Package: May and November 2024
The work package will be in two parts:
- WP 2.1. Boot Camp for International Cooperation in Research and Innovation
- WP 2.2. Boot Camp for International Cooperation in Entrepreneurship for Sustainable development
WP 2.1. Boot Camp for International Cooperation in Research and Innovation

This boot camp on international cooperation in the field of research and innovation was held on 25-28 April 2023, as a hybrid event, and it was hosted by the National Technical University of Ukraine "Ihor Sikorskyi Kyiv Polytechnic Institute".
Student teams from BUP participating universities in Ukraine took part in the competition for the preparation of project applications from their higher education institutions for the international competition. Experienced mentors assisted and worked with the teams. The purpose of the event was to prepare students to participate in research and innovation projects aimed at the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.

All participants received a certificate of participation. Members of the winning team will be invited to the BUP Student Conference "Challenges of Sustainable Development in the Baltic Sea Region because of the war in Ukraine", which will be held in April-May 2024 in Poznan, Poland. All expenses related to participation in this conference will be covered by the RESCUU project.
