Secretariat welcomes new intern

2023-01-20

During spring 2023 the BUP Coordinating Secretariat at Uppsala University will be joined by an intern. During the semester Brian Kipruto, studying the Master's Programme in Sustainable Development at Uppsala University, will be supporting the team where most needed.

Each semester the BUP Coordinating Secretariat announces a call for an intern that will get the opportunity to be a part of the BUP while gaining valuable work experience. Due to the fact that the BUP, among many things, organises events, create courses as well as works with students and researchers an internship offers a wide range of tasks. Brian shares some thoughts on joining the Secretariat:

Being a sustainability enthusiast, the internship position at The Baltic University Programme enables me to grow my research proficiency by actively contributing to its thematic areas. This internship is an excellent step to a professional career in sustainability by gaining and practicing skills necessary for solving societal needs. Through BUP activities, I strive to build networks and exchange experiences with like-minded individuals within the Baltic Sea Region.
