The Baltic Science Network (BSN) Mobility Programme for Research Internships, BARI, continues in spring 2021

Baltic Science Network LogoBARI offers research internships with appropriate academic training across the Baltic Sea Region to Bachelor and Master students with interest in Life Sciences, Photon & Neutron Science and Welfare State.

The target group in BARI are Bachelor and Master students, and PhD candidatesStudents can apply for internship, 2-12 weeks, in one of the research projects offered by the PhD students, who will host the interns. The eligible countries for BARI are Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Russia and Belarus.

The BARI continues during the COVID-19 with more flexible application process on monthly basis.
PhD candidate can send their offers and students submit their applications during between 1st and 16th of each month until May 2021. The internships should be realized by 16th June 2021. A matchmaking between interested students and offered research projects by PhD candidates will happen in the second half or the month.

By the end of 2020, about 30 BARI internships have been realized. The feedback has been very positive from both the hosts and interns. Gives a possibility of a research experience from own interest area, and improve skills for supervision.
