Challenges by cultural and sport mega-events: Socio-economic and ecological perspectives

Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University LogoImmanuel Kant Baltic Federal University (Kaliningrad, Russia) would like to invite all its BUP partners to take part in the International Conference “Challenges by cultural and sport mega-events: Socio-economic and ecological perspectives”, which will be held on December 17-18, 2020 in Kaliningrad.

The event will take place both in on-campus and online formats. The Conference aims to represent and promote forefront practices and solutions in the field of sustainable ecological and socio-economic development of cities after organizing and holding sport, festival, jubilee and other major events. We are happy to invite representatives of science and administration as well as other direct and indirect participants in the preparation and holding of large-scale city events to take part in the discussion. The Conference Proceedings will be indexed by the Russian Science Citation Index database and published in electronic form.

Main Conference sections:

  1. Environmental and Socio-economic Post-effects of Mega-events on Urban Development.
  2. Implementation of Green Mobility and Sustainable Tourism in Preparation of Sport and Cultural Mega-events.
  3. The Role of the Civil Society in the Preparation and Holding of Mega-events.
