This digital Book of Abstracts is a compilation of abstracts over presented research at the BUP Symposium 2020. It reflects the abstracts from the oral presentations held at the symposium and contact information of the presenting person. It also includes an introduction by the BUP Director. Special issue Sustainability: "Environmental Education for Sustainable Development" completed

We made an agreement with the journal Sustainability to host a special issue entitled "Environmental Education for Sustainable Development". This was intended to be one of the publishing outcomes from the BUP Symposium 2020, and an opportunity for accepted presenters to publish their full papers. The special issue intends to document and promote scholarly research and projects that show how environmental education can help towards the implementation of sustainability efforts.

Sustainability, special issue "Challenges and Possibilities for Sustainable Development in a Baltic Sea Region context" 

New deadline: 2021-04-26

Through an agreement with the journal Sustainability to host a special issue "Challenges and Possibilities for Sustainable Development in a Baltic Sea Region context" as an outcome from the BUP Symposium 2020, researchers with accepted abstracts submitted full papers for publication.

Baltic Region, special issue “Sustainable Development in the Baltic Sea Region”

We have an agreement with the journal Baltic Region to host a special issue on “Sustainable Development in the Baltic Sea Region”. The journal is included in scopus and web of science. Researchers with accepted abstracts were invited to submit full papers for publication. The publication is free of charge.

Universities, Sustainability and Society: Supporting the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals

Another outcome of the BUP Symposium 2020 is the book "Universities, Sustainability and Society: Supporting the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals”. It is part of the award-winning “World Sustainability Series”, published by Springer, one of the world´s top five scientific publishers. The plan is to publish it in the end of the first quarter of 2021.

Series editor is Walter Leal, the Baltic Universities Research and Publications Programme (BUPRaP).
