Interdisciplinary solutions to sustainability issues in the Baltic Sea Region

In the third session of the seminar series "Space Bridges 2.0", we focus on the crucial role that interdiciplinary solutions have on a different sustainability problems in our region. With presentations on microplastics, renewable energy, coastal management and much more.

For the session we invited severaI expers who share their research regarding a wide array of sustainability issues in the Baltic Sea Region.

The Baltic University Programme National Centre for Russia is represented by the three universities, Kaliningrad State Technical University, Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University and Russian State Hydrometeorological University. The higher institutions are not only geographically connected with the Baltic Sea, but in fact, have become an integral part of it in terms of science and research of its current issues, contribution to restoration and preservation of its resources, training staff for its sustainable use.
