The Ecosystem Health & Sustainable Agriculture Project

 

  1. The overall management and coordination of the course development and production of course materials is provided by the BUP secretariat.
     
  2. Scientists and experts from both regions, the Baltic Sea Region (BSR) and the Great Lakes District (GLD), are involved in the production of instructional materials.
     
  3. During the time period when the educational materials are being produced, several seminars on the course material will be held in the Kaliningrad and Leningrad oblasts in Russia and in Poland, Estonia, Latvia and, Lithuania.
     
  4. At the completion of the preliminary version of the course material, a conference will be held to review, edit, and/or modify the course material.
     
  5. The material will be printed and distributed to the users.
     
  6. The project will end with three large teacher training conferences (Russia, Poland and the Great Lakes Region) to make the teachers familiar with the educational material and show its possibilities.
     
  7. The universities in the network will start to give the course on Ecosystem Health and Sustainable Agriculture.
