This meeting is a network working meeting to make it possible for your university to receive a better benefit from cooperation with the BUP network. We would like to give you an opportunity to meet within your country group under the guidance of your BUP Centre director, to get to know all of us working at the BUP coordinating secretariat and to meet your colleagues from 14 countries in the Baltic Sea Region.
This meeting will give you a great possibility to actively influence the future development of the Baltic University Programme, to together plan coming activities, give directions for development, make sure that the network’s goals are meeting the individual members expectations, to discuss the needs of the network etc. We would like to plan together, so make sure you are in Uppsala during these days!
We are counting on your active participation and contribution: plans for new common projects, courses, proposal for topics for teachers’ trainings and students’ conferences, students’ summer activities and other common actions which can be realized within the network! In order to make this meeting more fruitful we would like to ask you prepare and bring with you some information which is mentioned in the document “Preparations for the participants before the meeting”.
The main goal of the meeting is to create a two-year plan of BUP activities, which will be shown to the rectors at the Rectors’ conference 2011.
