We are happy to invite you to the Residential Training Workshop on Universities & ESD
24-28 May 2010, Centre of Environmental Education of Amfissa, Greece.
This Training Workshop is following the successful implementation of the training course “Training in ESD through an inter-regional perspective: the Baltic Sea and Mediterranean regions" (6-12 October 2008, Uppsala) and is proposed within the framework of the cooperation between the Baltic University Programme (BUP) and the Mediterranean Universities Network on Sustainable Development for SD focusing on ESD (MedUnNET).
The workshop will be a common undertaking of:
- Mediterranean Information Office for Environment, Culture and Sustainable Development
- Mediterranean education initiative for environment & sustainability
- University of Athens / Laboratory of Environmental Chemistry
- Environmental Education Centre (CEE) of Amfissa
- UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europé
- Baltic University Programme
- European Commission
- Sida’s Baltic Sea Unit
With so many great organisations involved it must be something special :-) but as usual all the teachers coming to the workshop will play the most important role and we all count on your active participation!

Iro Alampei & Vicky Malotidi from MEdIES Secretariat will be coordinating the organisation of the workshop from Athens.
