Education for Change

Education for Change (EduC) is a project aiming at enhanceing the competence of teachers, both school and university teachers, on how to implement the concept of Sustainable Development in their education. The method to do this is the well known Study Circle. A method developed as an effective means of informal education. You and your colleges are welcome to contact the Baltic University Programme and consitute your own study circle.

Site Closing

Handbook in Russian
The Russian language version of the Education for Change Handbook is now available for download (pdf-file).

EduC Teachers Materials
You may download the Teachers Materials produced by this project for free. It contains Guidelines and Manuals for study circle participants and teachers a as well as the textbook on Education for Sustainable dvelopment.

Errata-list
A list of errata found in the Polish language version of the EduC Handbook and their corrections is available for download at the Teachers Materials page.

Contributions to the Handbook
Some contributions used for the writing of the Education for Change Handbook. have been collected by the handbook editor Gitte Jutvik. They are available for download.

Education for Change: From Theory to Practise
The Conference Resolution, thesis, presentations and more materials from the final conference held in Riga, Latvia in September 2008 on the Education for Change project are available for download.
