The BUP cruise with
STS Fryderyk Chopin 24 June - 6 July 2007.

STS Fryderyk Chopin
The Polish sailing ship STS Fryderyk Chopin is a brig, 55.5 meter long, 37 m high and 8 m wide. She carries in total 1200 m2 with sails. On board during the cruse were 30 students and 7 teachers from 11 countries and a small permanent crew.

The ports planned to be visted

The cruise started in Kiel, Germany on June 24 2007. Due to too little wind the planned call to Marstal on Ærø, Denmark was cancelled. Instead the ship headed directly to Hel, Poland. Hel welcomed us with gale winds however they soon calmed and the cruise continued in fair weather to Visby at Gotland, Sweden. On our way towards the final destination Århus, Denmark we made a short stop in Karskrona, Sweden.
